Sam and Laura Young began Motion Video Production in late 2017 in Heathmont, Melbourne. Sam has been filming for almost 10 years, and Laura is an amazing people person. Together they began to film weddings and created a vision to help capture the special day at an affordable price!
Sam is an accomplished aeroplane pilot and now flies drones commercially. He began his passion for filming and aviation at an early age and followed his passion to flight school. He has plenty of flying videos on his YouTube channel that is worth checking out! Sam's YouTube Channel
Laura offers her professional people skills as a pastor at their local church, and helps to keep Sam on track! She studied a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Youth work, with minor subjects at both Whitley College and formally Tabor College. She can hold her own with a camera and can often be found behind the scenes building relationships.
Together Sam and Laura Young had the vision to capture stories through film and love the adventure that it brings!
Motion Video Production has a simple brand idea. Capture real video with real people. We capture ALL moments! The best videos are made from the moments when you are relaxed and don't even realise we are there. Simple is best. Working in cohesion with the photographer, celebrant, DJ, venue and you, is KEY!
Did you know we don't just film weddings?? Weddings are our main focus, but we also do aerial photography, aerial videography, interview style videos, and not-for-profit videos.

All of our Remote Pilot Operators are licensed to fly RPA under 25kgs under CASA rules and regulations, which are briefly described in the picture. Any operations outside these laws require permission and take extra time and money.
We won't proceed into an area where our staff deem it to be unsafe. This applies to online enquiries, and to drone pilots and videographers.
